As our Senior Program Manager, you will lead and oversee the successful delivery of Ambulance Victoria's Next Generation Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, stakeholder expectations, and quality standards. You'll bring together technical expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding leadership to steer AV through complex change and digital transformation.
This is a Full Time, 12-month Fixed Term position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Blackburn office in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Director Delivery and Customer Engagement, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end program delivery and execute on a comprehensive organisational readiness strategy for the Next Generation CAD implementation
- Lead a cross-functional teams of project managers, technical experts, and operational staff to drive program objectives
- Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive sponsors and steering committees
- Collaborate closely with external agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders to drive alignment on technical integration and transition plans
- Oversee change management initiatives, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
- Develop and execute program governance frameworks and reporting processes
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification in program/project management, change management and/or business/public administration, or significant experience in managing technology programs and transformation initiatives.
Other requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience as a program and project leader who has successfully delivered large scale technology projects in a complex environment
- Technical and commercial acumen to manage risk, ensure integration, and influence across multiple stakeholders
- Capacity for innovative thinking and adaptive to situations while ensuring the core objectives are achieved
- A strong personal commitment to leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement across all facets of project management and business operations
- Familiarity with the emergency services and/or public health sector is highly desirable
