We are seeking a Senior Specialist Cyber Identity & Access Management to provide support for our Technical Services & Cyber Security Department.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn North in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Lead Cyber Security Systems, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of identity and access controls, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively to support organisational needs
- Oversee the daily provisioning and deprovisioning of user identities, including granting and revoking access rights, ensuring access changes align with established policies and procedures
- Ensure robust patient data protection through advanced IAM and PAM practices, maintaining high standards for security and privacy
- Conduct regular IAM and PAM audits and assessments to ensure full compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Manage entitlement management processes using specialized tools to track and review user and non-user permissions. Conduct entitlement reviews, implement automated workflows for access requests and approvals, and enforce principles of least privilege access and segregation of duties
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess a post graduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), or an equivalent of training ad high-level experience Other requirements include:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, Microsoft Certificates including Identity and Access Administrator Associate and Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Associate (Preferred qualifications).
- Extensive technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Entra ID, Entra ID Governance, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Identity Manager
- Proven experience with managing Joiner, Mover and Leaver scenarios within the identity lifecycle, Privileged Access Management solutions, Password Vault Solutions and scripting (PowerShell)
- 3+ years of experience and/or certification in Windows Server 2012 or later, with hands-on experience in log analysis, monitoring, and security event management
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 security tools, and related technologies (Active Directory, Entra ID, Cloud Entitlement Management), alongside in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO, CIS, ASD, and VPDSF
- Demonstrated ability to analyse issues, solve problems and make decisions by applying high-level judgement, taking into consideration objectives and risks to projects and business processes
