We are seeking an experienced Research Coordinatorfor the development and delivery of research projects and clinical trials. This is a full time ongoing position. Whilst WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Blackburn headquarters in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Director Research and Evaluation, this role will develop project plans and protocols, oversee governance processes, undertake data collection and analysis, follow-up patients, interact with key stakeholders and be responsible for project conduct and delivery. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain all required project documentation, including risk registers, communication plans, and stakeholder management plans
- Apply AV's research governance procedures and frameworks, including the submission of research governance and ethics documents and the conduct of research project assessments
- Ensure the project meets expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines and strategy
- Undertake data collection and analysis to support program evaluation or the monitoring of clinical performance
- Contribute to the planning and the delivery of complex projects under the direction of Director Research & Evaluation
About you
The ideal candidate will have a completion of a Completion of a tertiary qualification (preferably at post graduate level) in a relevant discipline with previous experience in research projects.Other requirements include but not limited to:
- Experience in the health or emergency services sector
- Highly developed quantitative analysis skills with experience using relevant software (e.g. statistical packages, database tools)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development of data extracts, data quality control (e.g. cleaning & coding) and statistical analysis of large complex data sets
- Attention to detail with well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the preparation of research reports and publications, preferably in a service delivery environment
